Dune Drifter

Dune Drifter is unapologetic arcade racing. You blast a lightweight buggy across shifting dunes, and the whole point is nailing those wide, sliding turns where the back end kicks out and sand sprays everywhere.

You can steer by tilt or by on-screen buttons — both work well, though tilt felt more natural once we recalibrated it. Tracks are short, restarts are instant, and there's a satisfying loop of shaving half a second off your last run.

It won't blow you away with depth, but as a two-minute palate cleanser it's excellent. We kept coming back to it between heavier games.
